The horseshoe became a popular symbol of luck during the late nineteenth century, Victorian era, as there was a general increase in superstition and rise in jewelry with symbolism. It was thought the horseshoe should always be facing upwards to keep the luck from pouring out. We have loved collecting some of these antique horseshoes and based this design off of them. This charm makes a great gift, or gift you yourself. The charm is made of 14K gold and features colorful bright opals accented by diamonds. All of our necklace charms are set on our signature rectangle bail, the design allows for the charm to slide on most small to medium chains, and all of the chains we create. Each charm is custom hand-made to order in 4-6 weeks, we do try to keep a selection in stock for rush orders. Requested modifications are subject to revised production timelines and pricing.
