A gorgeous pendant made of an Art Deco era component. It’s unclear what this piece used to be as it could have been a pin, shoe clip, or part of something larger. We are selling it the way we found it, on this beautiful delicate chain. The pendant is set with bright white antique diamonds, and synthetic emeralds. The use of synthetic colored stones during this time period was extremely common, and most pieces with real colored stones are modern Art Deco replicas. The reason these synthetics were so widely used was it was very difficult to cut these small stones and jewelers would have limited supply, often without perfectly matching colors.
