From the late Art deco era, this enchanting and impressive bauble features a 4.38 carat cabochon sapphire suffused with a faded denim blue hue and a shimmering six-legged star (a.k.a. asterism). The star is very subtle and the stone almost has the appearance of a moonstone. The platinum setting is accented with baguette diamond and single cut diamonds. This ring would look great worn on any finger. The surface of the sapphire has some scratching (common with a cabochon stone of its age), and can easily be re-polished upon request. We have left it in its found condition as some collectors like their jewelry to show age and authenticity.
