This style is inspired by Victorian Era pendants. Often these antique pendants were set with onyx, bloodstone or carnelian intaglios. Our version is hand set with a plain bloodstone and a high polish back that can easily be engraved to personalize. Bloodstone is a polycrystalline variety of chalcedony (quartz) with a dark green hue and red or orangey patches. These iron oxide dots or patches are dispersed throughout the stone. Each pendant is a hefty weight 14K gold and features our signature rectangle bail that can easily slide on to chains of all sizes. Each pendant is custom hand-made to order in 3-4 weeks.
