A beautiful antique ring from the Victorian era, made circa 1893 from Birmingham. It features an amazing bright Old European Cut Diamond weighing approximately 1.16 carats, sitting in a classic buttercup setting. The back is open allowing the light to flow through the diamond, creating amazing sparkle and shine. The buttercup style setting was popular during the Victorian era when floral motifs were prominent and this later edition was inspired by those styles. The scalloped edge between the prongs creates a beautiful petal look mimicking the golden flower representing happiness, merriment, and bliss. It's a stunner worn on its own or paired with other favorite rings. We love it as a gorgeous statement ring and think it makes an exceptional engagement ring.
