This Edwardian Era ring is a standout! A white pearl is surrounded by one of our favorite and most collectible stones, Demantoid garnet. This unique stone was discovered at the end of the reign of Nicholas I, Emperor of Russia, and the beginning of the reign of Tsar Alexander II – after whom the mineral alexandrite was named – this new garnet variety was discovered in the Ural mountains. Circa 1853. The demantoid garnet halo is surrounded by a halo of bright chunky old mine cut diamonds. This ring is a fabulous collectors items that has great finger coverage.
