Moonstones, which legend says bring the wearer good luck, are seen with white and slightly blue adularescence, which this piece has. The rarest and most expensive moonstones will be colorless with a floating blue color or schiller that seems to hover above the stone. The round shape cabochon is surrounded by white old mine cut diamonds. The ring is made of 14K gold, and we believe the shank was a later addition, possibly converted from a pin. This ring is currently a size 6 and can easily be resized.
