Pear Cut Moonstone and Sapphire Ring

This ring is a standout! A gorgeous moonstone with a bright blue flash. The accent sapphires bring out the light blue in the moonstone. Moonstone is a variety of orthoclase feldspar, which is a sodium aluminum silicate. Moonstones can occur colorless, blue-white, white and pale shades of apricot and peach. The rarest and most expensive moonstones will be colorless with a floating blue color or schiller that seems to hover above the stone. This retro 1970’s ring is made out of 14 karat yellow gold, and would be the perfect keepsake as a something blue for a wedding look.
