The Story

This antique locket is a striking addition to any collection! Crafted from a warm 18 karat rose-y yellow gold, the locket cuts a unique shield shaped outline, measuring 1.38 inches from tip to bail. An intricate pierced openwork scroll design is set into the front of the locket, giving it an ethereal feel, despite its substantial size. An additional shield shaped gold appliqué is affixed to the openwork design, providing texture and dimension to the piece. We love the matching scrolled wire design that crowns the top of the locket. Two of your own 0.70 inch photos would make this piece an heirloom in the modern era.
